    • Next, you'll need to submit our online application form and supporting documents.
    • If NAIS Dublin is the right fit for your child, we'll offer you a place.
  • Do you admit students throughout the year?
NAIS Dublin offers rolling admissions, which means we enrol students throughout the school year. Our teachers are used to settling in students at short notice, and we provide a full onboarding service that helps children to integrate into their year group, make friends, and seamlessly pick up our curriculum.
  • What do your tuition fees include?
Our school fees are designed to be as inclusive as possible. They not only cover our innovative International Baccalaureate tuition, but also many other key elements of school life. These include a wide range of activities beyond the classroom, as well as our trailblazing collaborations with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, The Juilliard School and UNICEF.

Our fees don't, however, include exam entrance, school camps or residential trips, which are charged separately. Optional programmes, such as our bus service, school lunches and individual instrument lessons, are also extra.
  • What curriculum do you teach?

NAIS Dublin is an International Baccalaureate (IB) school, delivering an all-through, academically excellent, global IB education.

The IB develops an array of essential skills, empowering our students to become knowledgeable, lifelong learners. The IB is even flexible enough to integrate Irish language, history and cultural studies.

You can find out more about the different stages of our IB curriculum below:

  • What foreign languages do you offer?

We offer a range of language learning opportunities for our students.

Our Early Years and Primary learners (KG4 to Grade 5) can take a language acquisition course in Spanish, French or Mandarin. Secondary students can also choose to take a course in any of these three languages, as well as German. We offer Irish as a co-curricular activity (KG5 to Grade 12), too.

  • Do you provide English Language Support (ELS)?

One of our school’s greatest strengths is our ability to integrate students whose mother tongue is not English.

We ensure that students who need English Language Support (ELS) get the help they need to become fluent – and in no time at all! Our Primary students may use the time allocated for language acquisition to focus on ELS. This enables them to quickly become proficient in English.

  • What qualifications do your teachers have?

Our teachers have a wealth of experience, acquired from posts around the world. They also have a deep understanding of the International Baccalaureate approach, as well as cutting-edge subject knowledge.

We select our educators for their passion, expertise, and ability to inspire young minds. We continually invest in our teachers, too, through world-class professional development programmes. This ensures we’re always innovating and improving. To maintain the highest standards, we assess our staff against local and national benchmarks, as well as Nord Anglia’s stringent Quality Assurance Framework.

  • What co-curricular activities do you offer?

We offer a wide variety of co-curricular clubs and activities, from sports and music to STEAM and languages. We encourage all students to get involved, discover new interests, and develop their talents.

Activities take place after lessons, Monday to Thursday:

    • KG3-Grade 1: Monday to Thursday, 2:30–3:30pm.
    • Grades 2-11: Monday to Thursday, 3:30–4:30pm.

  • Where can I find term and holiday dates?

Our school calendar contains key term, holiday, and event dates at NAIS Dublin.

  • Do you provide school lunches?

Yes, we do. Lunch is included in our school fees for children in KG3 and KG4, and all other students can buy a hot lunch from our cafeteria, Lunchbox.

We offer a range of hot, nutritious meals, as well as quicker options like salads, soups, and sandwiches. Our menu changes every day, and you can view it up to a week in advance via our parent app. Our food service is provided by Cliff Catering.

  • Do you have a school bus service?
Yes! Our daily school bus service is available to students aged three and upwards. We currently offer three routes, which run once in the morning and twice after school (3:30pm and 4:30pm). Each bus has a dedicated monitor, who supervises students and ensures they’re collected and dropped off at their designated stops.
  • Do your students wear a uniform?

Yes, they do! Our school uniform gives students a real sense of belonging, and we expect them to wear it for all activities, including those off campus.

  • Do you offer childcare after school?

Yes, we do! After School Care (ASC) is available until 6:00pm, Monday to Thursday, and until 5:00pm on Fridays.

ASC starts from 3:30pm and is available to children from KG3 to Grade 5. There is a charge for this service.

  • As a parent, how can I get involved in the school community?

Our fantastic Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is elected each year and serves as a link between families and the school. The PTA also plays an instrumental role in welcoming new families and helping them settle into life in Dublin.

To find out more, please get in touch with our reception team.

  • Does the school offer boarding?
No, we don't currently offer boarding facilities. However, several of our overseas students live with host families in Dublin. Get in touch with our admissions team to find out more.
