In the vast wilderness of Panama, where lush forests meet roaring rivers and rugged mountains, lies an extraordinary challenge for trail runners - the Panama Ocean to Ocean Ultra Trail Run, a grueling 105-kilometer journey that pushes even the most experienced athletes to their limits. For one passionate runner, this incredible event became a life-changing experience, proving that determination and self-belief can triumph over any obstacle.

MeetGlarencia, our Operations Manager who, like many, once believed that running wasn't suitable for her. However, in 2010, she decided to take a leap of faith and discovered the transformative power of running. Little did she know that it was just the beginning of an incredible journey that would lead her to tackle the most challenging race of his life.

Running along concrete pavements was enjoyable, but Glarenciafound her true calling when she ventured into the world of trail running.After completing several marathons in the city, Glarenciadecided to take her passion for trail running to the next level byparticipating in the El Valle Ultramarathons. Starting with the modest 25-kilometer distance in 2017, she gradually built strength and determination, eventually conquering the 50-kilometer distance. However, his hunger for adventure and self-discovery led her to set his sights on the ultimate challenge - the formidable 105-kilometer ultra trail run.

The journey towards this audacious goal was an unforgettable experience in itself.Glarenciasurrounded herself with friends who shared the same passion for trail running. Together, they traversed rugged terrains, encouraged one another, and inspired each other to push their boundaries. During the four months of intense training, Glarenciauncovered an inner strength she never knew existed. The process was about much more than just running; it was a journey of self-belief, determination, and resilience.

Finally, the race day arrived, and Glarenciastood among a diverse crowd of fellow runners, all united by the same quest for adventure and self-discovery. As she embarked on the 105-kilometer odyssey, she felt a surge of adrenaline and an overwhelming sense of purpose. Each step brought her closer to realizing her dream.

The trail wasn't without its difficulties. Harsh weather, steep ascents, and physical fatigue tested Glarencia's endurance. Yet, she persisted, drawing inspiration from the beauty of his surroundings and the indomitable spirit of his fellow runners. Along the way, she forged unforgettable bonds, united by the shared struggle and the shared triumph of overcoming personal limitations.
