- Bachelor’s degree, a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) certificate
- Master’s degree in Educational Leadership
- Certificate in Compassionate Systems Thinking from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
A successful educator and leader at schools in the UK, Middle East and Far East, Iain has been developing his knowledge, skills and understanding of education for over twenty-five years.
Iain began his career in London where he was a teacher, middle leader and advisor before he moved into international education. He has worked at high performing international schools in the UK, Qatar, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia holding a variety of leadership positions. Iain is an experienced Council of International Schools (CIS) Accreditor and was a founding member of the Safeguarding Executive Committee for the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA).
In his spare time, he likes to learn new things. He loves to study, to read and to write. Iain has also had a lifelong interest in sport, with a particular focus on Rugby Union, playing for teams in the UK and the Middle East for many years.
