We use cookies to improve your online experiences. To learn more and choose your cookies options, please refer to our cookie policy.

Your application journey starts with our brilliant admissions team. Get in touch with them today to register your interest and arrange an in-person or virtual tour of our campuses.
You'll then need to complete our online application form. You'll also need to submit some supporting documents: a copy of your child’s passport; a copy of recent school reports; and any SEN reports (if applicable).
If your child is joining us in Year 7 or above, we'll invite them to sit a short, age-appropriate assessment.
All being well, we'll then offer you a place. Once your child's place and start date are confirmed, you'll need to send us an education agreement; consent forms; responsibility for fees form; a copy of your child's health insurance; a transfer form (on request from the admissions team); and vaccination confirmation (only for our Nursery, Reception and Year 1 children).
Our tuition fees reflect the exceptional learning experiences we offer, as well as the outstanding academic success our students achieve.
The fees you'll pay not only cover the costs of your child's academic tuition, but also include many other elements of school life. These include exciting global opportunities through Nord Anglia Education, such as our pioneering collaborations with MIT, Juilliard, and UNICEF, as well as a wide choice of extra-curricular activities and community service experiences.
Our tuition fees also include exam entrance, most local trips, specialist learning support, and more.
Our students follow an expertly designed programme of British and international curricula.
We teach the English National Curriculum up to Year 9. This encompasses the early years, primary, and secondary.
In Years 10 and 11, we offer Cambridge IGCSEs. And in Years 12 and 13 we teach the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
Yes, we run a school minibus service. The service can collect your child from a home address in almost any area of Bratislava, up to 15km from our school.
If your family lives more than 15km away, we can pick up your child for an extra charge.
Being part of the Nord Anglia Education family of schools means we can recruit the best: talented teachers who have extensive experience in British and international schools, and who are experts in their field. Every member of our team is carefully chosen and has UK qualified status or equivalent.
Our educators are always learning, too. We offer unparalleled opportunities for them to develop and grow, supported by accreditation from the best training organisations. This means they deliver cutting-edge academic programmes and extra-curricular activities.
At BISB, we offer more than 70 extra-curricular clubs and programmes. These are designed to nurture your child’s talents and inspire new interests beyond the classroom.
Activities range from sports to science, music to maths. We also offer internationally recognised programmes, including The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award.
Extra-curricular activities usually take place after school, between 15:00 and 16:00. Some secondary clubs finish at 17:00.
