PRIMARY SCHOOL CURRICULUM

The English National Curriculum teaches the fundamental knowledge and skills every child needs to flourish. As well as focusing on English, maths and science, your child will develop personally, socially, and emotionally. Our framework of academic excellence, values, and wellbeing – which are the hallmarks of the curriculum – prepare our students for the challenges of secondary education.

In subjects including geography, history, art, and design technology, our students follow the International Primary Curriculum. This thematic, creative programme, which has clear personal, subject, and learning goals, can be adapted to each student’s interests and level of understanding. It also gives our students a global perspective.

Our residential expeditions, community service programmes, local excursions, expert guest speakers, and child-led exhibitions open our students’ eyes to a world beyond the classroom.

Day-to-day learning is enhanced by an extensive selection of co-curricular activities, our digital Global Campus platform, and exclusive collaborations with MIT, The Juilliard School, and UNICEF.

We know that the move to secondary school can be daunting. Our bespoke support programme, which begins as early as Term 1 in Year 6, involves class teachers, heads of year, and specialist counselling staff. We make sure our students are well prepared and excited for the next phase of their educational journey.
