Seasons Greetings from the ISM Music Department as students from Krylatskoe Upper Campus bring cheer to St Andrew’s Church in the annual traditional Christmas Concert.

Once again, Krylatskoe Lower Campus has outdone itself by producing its greatest-ever annual Christmas Concert.

Tuesday December 17th saw another wonderful Home Learning Exhibition at ISM Rosinka.

What a fantastic way to get into the Christmas Spirit with our annual Christmas concert in Rosinka!

EYFS Rosinka was bursting with Christmas festivity as Reception presented a fantastic performance of ‘Stick Man’.

At Krylatskoe Lower Campus, we enjoy our annual Swimming Showcase event, led by our Physical Education team.

Since the middle of November, our Year One to Year Six students have been rehearsing spellings for the Spelling Bee Grand Final that took place on the 9th of December.

The Rosinka students of Year Five and Six showed unbelievable enthusiasm towards their production when they performed ‘Darwin Rocks’ on the 4th and 5th of December.

Once again, our Secondary students put on a magnificent performance and stunned the audience with their production of ‘Where the Fairy Tales Are’. The visually-stunning set, which involved months of preparation, made it hard to believe we were really still in Moscow.

Our Rosinka Year One students finished learning about golden celebrations by getting married in our school’s hall.

This November, our MUN team went to The JFK School in Berlin to attend the 28th Berlin Model United Nations (BERMUN). This is the second time that we have attended this prestigious conference. Once again, ISM were among the most outstanding teams at the conference.

ISM Lower Campus recently turned blue in celebration of UNICEF’s World Children’s Day on November 22nd.

On Friday the 22nd of November, ISM Rosinka took part in the global charity event ‘Movember’ that aims to change the face of men’s health and raise awareness about it.

Year Four took to the stage in frosty November and warmed the hearts and minds of their audience with blockbuster performances of ‘The Wizard of Oz’. The children sang and acted their hearts out throughout the shows.

Year Five produced an outstanding adaptation of Charles Dickens ‘A Christmas Carol’ on Tuesday the 19th and Wednesday the 20th of November. The students had to partake in a multitude of different tasks over the course of the last fortnight. Having worked co-operatively and enthusiastically, they put on a wonderful production.

Over the past few weeks, ISM students have been honing their photography skills for this year’s competition. The competition was inspired by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and entrants were challenged to ‘Reveal Science, Engineering or Maths through the Art and skills of Technology.’

During International Week 2019 in Rosinka, our students were able to travel across the globe in less than six hours and visited many countries, including Russia, Germany, Turkey, South Korea, Greece, Italy, Latin America, Sweden, South Africa, Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Lower Campus recently held their annual International Week, a highlight on the academic calendar. The theme this year was ‘Celebrating Diversity’ and we focused on sharing all of the different cultures on our campus. Each day of the week was about a different country or culture, culminating in a celebration on Friday.

This year, International Week on Upper Campus was based around the theme of 'Democracy'. Students from Year 5 to Year 13 researched different aspects of democracy and explained why it is so important.
