We are pleased to announce that Nord Anglia have opened applications for the Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard 2020. Applications are open until 1st April 2020 and the programme will take place in July 2020 in three different international locations; Geneva, Shanghai and Florida.

On December 10 & 11, our little EYC stars put everyone in a festive mood with their incredibly cute and joyful EYC Winter Production.

On December 11 & 12, students from different age groups and nationalities came together, after months of practicing, to bring audiences an amazing Secondary Production: Elf The Musical. The festive stage show attracted over 500 paying audience members throughout the two-night run with many compliments on their excellent performances.

On Wednesday, December 04, BIS Winter Concert was hosted in the festively decorated auditorium where talented students came together to dance, sing, act and play music that they have learnt from the Extra Curricular Performing Arts programme this term.

BIS Hanoi, together with other Nord Anglia Education schools across South East Asia will take part in a dynamic programme for young athletics at three-day U11 Nord Anglia South East Asia Games in Ho Chi Minh City from December 06 - 09.

Our community partner Hy Vong School have been continuing their regular weekly visits with Year 6. Both sets of students have enjoyed working together on science projects, making crazy putty and rainbow water jars.

The week beginning, November 25, saw Ms Catherine and Ms Jasmine lead a session called ‘Funky Phonics’ for the parents of children in the EYC. The aim of the workshop was to make parents more aware of the learning that goes on in our phonics lessons at BIS.

On Saturday, 23rd November, British International School Hanoi (BIS Hanoi) hosted the Hanoi Activities Conference (HAC) Maths Olympiad. 14 schools around Hanoi participated in the competition, which consisted of four rounds of fun and challenging mathematical activities.

We are delighted to announce that our student, Hyungun (Year 11), successfully took 1st place in the Junior category for his excellent cello performance at the Chianmai Ginastera International Music Festival 2019.
