A busy time in Secondary this week as we approach the end of the academic year.

It has been wonderful welcoming parents back on site this week for live lunches and seeing them during the live semifinals of the Rising Stars Talent Show.

Another full week of face-to-face learning for all our students from F1 to Year 12.

At the annual Graduation Ceremony last Saturday, we said an emotional farewell to our wonderful Year 13 students.

Six of our students team up for this year's STEAM festival and they showed great creativity to solve the STEAM challenge they were tasked with.

As the weather heats up in Hanoi, I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that all students need to bring a hat every day to school.

It was great to have the chance to meet a number of you in person at our termly Principal’s Coffee Morning on Tuesday this week.

This week we proudly say farewell to our Year 13 students. Their time with us culminates with the Graduation Ceremony at the InterContinental Hanoi Westlake.

Last Friday saw the return of our Phase assemblies; it was brilliant having all the students back face to face and celebrating their achievements together.

It has been the final week of exams for our Year 13 IB Diploma students. They can now look forward to their Graduation Ceremony next Saturday.

I am sure you will be as inspired as I am by the impressive array of initiatives on offer during Mental Health Awareness Week which starts on Monday 23 May.

This time of year again finds our Year 12 students busier than ever with their CAS projects. Many interesting initiatives have been launched and are looking very promising.

Over the last few weeks and months, the Primary Student Council have been working hard with Ms Clark to set up the Rising Stars Talent Show.

Another full week of learning and activities across our campuses. It has been great to have our Extra Curricular Clubs in motion both after school and some before school.

We have received some heartening feedback so far and some insightful areas for improvement as part of our international reaccreditation process this week.

This week saw the commencement of our Co-Curricular Activities programme and the students taking part in a wide range of clubs after school.

Despite it being a shorter working week, it has nevertheless been very busy for all our students with our Year 11 and Year 13 students.

Starting from next Monday, BIS Hanoi welcomes the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Western Academy of Schools and Colleges (WASC) to visit us virtually as part of our international reaccreditation.

What another exciting week it has been in the Primary School! It is wonderful seeing the students settle into their routines.
